5 Instagram Apps to Enhance Your Photos
Instagram let’s user capture, edit and share their pictures with a few simple swipes of the finger. Now that we are entering spring sharing gorgeous pictures will become even more prevalent. With 200 million users sharing 60 million photos on a daily basis you may want to do something to your pictures stand out from the crowd. But even Instagram has its limitations when it comes to editing pictures. That is where the following picture editing apps will become your best friend.
With the ability to choose from 179 different layouts, you can combine up to nine images into a single collage. You will then be able to manipulate these layouts by changing the width of the borders, creating rounded edges and editing textures. Diptic also has photo editing tools that allow you choose from 14 original photo filters, or manually adjust for brightness, contrast, hue and color saturation to make your pictures stand out even more.
On Android and BlackBerry you will be able to create a photo collage using up to five images with on 36 different types of frames. Adjustments to the width of the borders and edges of each create a photo can be made along with rotating the photos in each frame. You can also edit your pictures even more with the brightness, contrast and saturation tools.
On iOS PicFrame gives users more options as you will have 73 frames and shapes to choose from. The iOS app also lets you use up to nine images but it has the added feature of allowing you to mix in videos with the frames of your choice. You can also add text labels to the frame along with have a full suite of editing tools that are available on the Android and BlackBerry versions.
Afterlight offers you 56 light filters to use, 27 of them are fully adjustable original filters, 13 filters have been created by Instagram users and 16 filters with a seasonal themed. You will also be able to use 66 different textures and cropping, rotating and straightening editing tools to use for your pictures.
Snapseed is a must when you need to make elements of a photo pop, especially when showcasing products or logos in a real-life setting. This app has a number of creative photo enhancing filters including Vintage Films that make your pictures look like a photo from a 50s, 60s or 70s film and Tilt-Shift that allows you to create a narrow in-focus area in your picture.

Photo Editor by Aviary gives you a complete range of effects and color correctors. This photo editor features a smart tool that lets you quickly edit a picture through a “one-tap auto enhance” mode to help you render a gorgeous picture. Aviary helps you easily crop images to specific sizes that you want—a feature that Instagram does not currently have.
