From apps to help you find a date to those that’ll provide the assist to prepare for said date our smartphones can do it all. Here are some apps that will do just that.

OkCupid (Android, iOS) – Free

Creating a profile on OkCupid is free, as is viewing and sending messages to other users on the service. By answering various questions on OkCupid the service will help you find people that are a match for you. Your search can be further narrowed down by setting filters such as age, location and picture availability. If you want to get a quick date together for Valentine’s Day you can try your luck with OkCupid’s blind date feature.

With more than 21 million users Match.com is one of the most well-known online dating sites. With the mobile app you can browse member profiles, create your own, view daily matches and send winks to connect with other users. For Match.com subscribers, subscriptions begin at $30 per month, you can use the app to send and receive messages and see who has viewed your profile. With the subscription you will also be able to sign-up for Match.com sponsors meet-ups for singles that the service may hold in your city.

 

eHarmony (Android, iOS) – Free Download; Monthly to Yearly Membership Subscription

When you first sign up for an eHarmony account you will go through the company’s patented “29 Dimensions of Compatibility” questionnaire. This questionnaire is used to identify your core traits, such as emotional temperament, social style, relationship skills and values and beliefs and find you matches based on these answers. You’re also able to sync your eHarmony profile with Facebook and use the pictures on that profile for eHarmony through the app. Like Match.com, if you want access to all of eHarmony’s features you will have to be a member with subscriptions ranging from monthly to yearly.
