Nokia Lumia Icon: What To Expect?

The Nokia Lumia Icon is almost ready to make it’s debut. Find out the details on the latest addition to the Nokia Lumia and Windows Phone Family after the jump.

The latest addition to the Nokia Lumia family comes with a 1920 x 1080 5″ Full HD OLED display. It packs 441ppi with the dimensions of the full phone being 5.39 x 2.79 x 0.39 inch. The Icon’s edges are curved and are lined by an aluminum ring, giving the handset what Nokia called a smooth and ergonomic feel.

The Icon comes with a high-grade 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU. There is also 32GB of built-in storage and a 2,420 mAh battery that keeps the Icon performing.

More Lumia Icon specs and features

The Nokia Lumia Icon will have the Windows Phone 8 OS. The Icon will also feature a third column to the Live Tile start screen. To help you get a full experience right out of the box the Icon will come with apps like Here Maps, MixRadio, Storyteller, Camera and Beamer.

The camera on the Icon will have a 20MP PureView snapper with the industry leading Zeiss Optics and Auto Focus. This is in addition to the built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that helps reduce blurred and jittery images that may happen when moving.

With the Icon camera you will also have the ability to shoot HD 1080p video at 30 FPS. The front facing camera has a 2MP sensor, capable of taking 1.2MP still shots and 720p video. See an example of a video shot with the Nokia Lumia Icon in the video below:
